NeuroLinguistic Programming

  NLP is the practice of understanding how you organise your thinking, feelings, language and behaviours to produce the results they do. ‘Neuro’ refers to your neurology, ‘Linguistic’ refers to language and ‘Programming’ refers to how that neural language functions. Essentially this means that learning NLP is like learning the language of your own mind.

Our brains are neuroplastic, meaning that through a process known as ‘neurogenesis’, we can change the way our brains are wired in order to get the outcomes we desire. NLP works through a process of using our senses within visualisation techniques in order to change a thought or belief that is more in harmony with your goals and desires.

Emotional Freedom Technique

EFT, known as 'Tapping',  is a universal healing tool that can provide quick and impressive results for most mental, physical and emotional issues. The fundamental idea of EFT is that all mental and physical difficulties (whether it be emotional trauma, chronic physical pain, compulsions and addictions) in our lives are a result of unresolved emotional issues.  It is well known that stress can hinder and prevent the body's natural healing processes and in turn cause both mental and physical issues.


EFT works by tapping on certain meridian points on the body whilst maintaining a mental focus on the issue you wish to resolve. This process taps into the body's energy and allows it to flow properly again. It is a painless process that you can learn to use yourself anywhere.

Mindfulness and Meditation

Performing mindfulness techniques can be a valuable tool in your journey to complete wellness. These include visualisation techniques, breathing exercises, cognitive diffusion (becoming untangled from our unwanted thoughts) and even simply developing an awareness of yourself and your daily activities.

Meditation has a vast array of proven benefits for your inner and outer world. It helps to calm the body and mind whilst bringing a sense of control over your thoughts.

Together we will explore what options are best for you in order to get to where you want to be. We can use the techniques together within sessions plus I can teach you how to adopt skills to help you in between sessions or whenever you need them as well.
