Hypnotherapy is the use of both Hypnosis and Therapy for the treatment of both physical and psychological issues. Recognised by the British Medical Association since 1955 as a valuable and effective process, it is both relaxing and completely safe. If we both agree that it is something you would like to try we can build it into our sessions.
We will initially spend time talking through your issues and concerns in depth so that I have a very clear understanding of what we need to work on. We will agree a plan together.
Your subconscious mind is your brain’s database for all of your automatic habits (good and bad), thoughts and behaviours. It is also where your memories are stored and provides you with motivation and guides your beliefs. You cannot consciously access your subconscious mind unless you are in a deep state of relaxation and this is something that I can help you to achieve. The hypnotic state allows your conscious, busy, thinking mind to simply rest and allows direct communication with your subconscious mind which will have the freedom to listen, focus and take on board suggestions that I provide it with to help you.
